You are not alone. Let us help you.
Recognizing the growing need in our community for high-quality yet affordable counseling services, California Youth Services (CYS) took the important step of establishing the Pathways Community Counseling Center (PCCC). This center was created with the mission of making comprehensive therapy and counseling services accessible to all individuals, regardless of their financial circumstances.

This assistance includes, but is certainly not limited to: substance abuse and other forms of addiction, anxiety, depression, and various mental and emotional problems as well as disorders.
Additionally, Pathways supports individuals facing family and relationship issues, survivors of sexual abuse and domestic violence, and those struggling with eating disorders. The center also offers guidance for individuals experiencing career changes and job-related stress, as well as social and emotional difficulties that may be related to disability and chronic illness. It costs California Youth Services (CYS) $200 per session to provide our vital services, but thanks to the generosity of donations, grants, and ongoing fundraising efforts, we are able to significantly subsidize the cost for our clients. As a result, we charge only $85 per session for standard services. Additionally, if a licensed therapist is required for a particular session, the fee is set at $125.
For clients that are unable to afford the subsidized amount, we are committed to lowering the costs accordingly to meet individual financial situations. We firmly believe in our policy of never turning a client away due to their inability to afford our services. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more detailed information about how we can work together to make our counseling services affordable for you.
Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to accept insurance or medical coverage because we are not currently set up for that process.

There are numerous ways to initiate service with us. You can simply call our office, or if you prefer, click the enroll button located below, and a member of our team will be in touch with you shortly. Additionally, you also have the option to directly purchase an intake session, after which one of our counselors will contact you directly to schedule the session at a time that works best for you. Regardless of the method you choose, your first session will be an intake appointment, during which we will ensure that Pathways is truly a great fit for your individual needs and circumstances.
We look forward to working with you.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
